757 Student Storage is committed to simplifying the storage process for college students attending institutions in the Hampton Roads region, including but not limited to Old Dominion University (ODU), Norfolk State University (NSU), Regent University, Hampton University, Christopher Newport University (CNU), Virginia Wesleyan University (VWU), and other nearby colleges and universities. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of students who require secure storage during the summer break or other periods when they are away from campus. Our comprehensive service package includes:
a) Delivery of Packing Materials: We provide high-quality packing materials, including boxes, tape, and labels, delivered directly to your dorm, apartment, or other designated location.
b) Pickup of Packed Items: Our team collects your packed belongings from your specified location at a scheduled time, ensuring a hassle-free process.
c) Secure Indoor Storage: Your items are stored in a climate-controlled, secure facility throughout the summer, protecting them from damage or theft.
d) Return Delivery: At the start of the fall semester, we deliver your stored items back to your designated location, ensuring they are ready when you return to campus.

2. Eligibility and Service Area
Our services are exclusively available to college students enrolled at accredited institutions in the Hampton Roads area or nearby regions, as determined by 757 Student Storage. Eligible institutions include, but are not limited to, ODU, NSU, Regent University, Hampton University, CNU, and VWU. To confirm eligibility, you must provide accurate information during the booking process, including your student status, contact details, and pickup/delivery locations. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and may refuse service if the provided information is incomplete, inaccurate, or does not meet our criteria.
3. Booking and Payment Terms
To use our services, you must complete the booking process through our website or designated platform. The following terms apply to booking and payment:
a) Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, Apple Pay, and Venmo. All transactions are processed securely through our payment gateway.
b) Payment Timing: Full payment for the selected service package is due at the time of booking. This ensures your spot is reserved and allows us to schedule your pickup and delivery efficiently.
c) Additional Charges: Any additional fees, such as for extra packing materials, rescheduling, or missed appointments, will be invoiced separately. You agree to pay these invoices promptly upon receipt.
d) Digital Receipts: Upon successful payment, you will receive a digital receipt via email, confirming your booking and payment details.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

a) Cancellations Before Delivery: You may cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery of packing materials and receive a full refund of the service fee.
b) Late Cancellations: If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or after packing materials have been delivered, a $30 cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund to cover administrative and logistical costs.
c) Post-Pickup Cancellations: Once your items have been picked up and placed in storage, no refunds will be issued, as we have allocated resources to store and manage your belongings.
d) Unused Packing Supplies: If you cancel your booking, all unused packing materials (e.g., boxes, tape, labels) must be returned in their original, unused condition. Failure to return materials in acceptable condition may result in additional charges.
e) Missed Pickups or Deliveries: If you miss a scheduled pickup or delivery due to lack of communication or unavailability, a $30 rescheduling fee will apply. We will work with you to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.

5. Customer Responsibilities

We recommend using the provided packing materials and following our packing guidelines, available on our website. 757 Student Storage is not liable for damage resulting from improperly packed items or prohibited contents.
b) Prohibited Items: To ensure safety and compliance, you agree not to store:
· Perishable goods (e.g., food, plants).
· Hazardous materials (e.g., flammables, explosives, chemicals).
· Illegal substances or items.
· High-value items (valued over $1,000) unless additional insurance is purchased.
c) Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process, including your contact details, pickup/delivery locations, and any special instructions (e.g., dorm access codes). Failure to provide accurate information may result in delays or additional fees.
d) Availability: You must ensure someone is available at the scheduled pickup and delivery times or provide access instructions for your location.

6. Prohibited Uses
To maintain a safe and lawful service environment, you agree not to:
a) Use our services for resale, third-party storage, or commercial redistribution of stored items.

c) Engage in any behavior that harasses, threatens, or abuses our staff or misuses our service platform, including submitting false information or attempting to manipulate the booking system.
Violations of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of services, forfeiture of any payments, and potential legal action, depending on the severity of the violation.
7. Limitation of Liability
757 Student Storage is committed to handling your belongings with care, but certain limitations apply:
a) Damage to Items: We are not liable for damage to items resulting from improper packing, prohibited contents, or failure to follow our packing guidelines.
b) Maximum Liability: Our maximum liability per customer for loss or damage to stored items is limited to $200, unless you purchase additional insurance coverage.
c) External Factors: We are not responsible for delays or service disruptions caused by external factors beyond our control, such as inclement weather, road closures, or restricted access to dorms or apartments due to building policies.
d) Force Majeure: 757 Student Storage is not liable for failure to perform services due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, labor disputes, governmental restrictions, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
8. Insurance Options
For added peace of mind, you may purchase additional insurance coverage for high-value items (valued over $1,000) during the booking process. Details of coverage options, including costs and terms, will be provided upon request. Standard coverage is limited to $200 per customer, as noted in Section 7.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any disputes arising from your use of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. By using our services, you consent to the jurisdiction of these courts.
10. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate or refuse service to any customer who violates these Terms, including but not limited to storing prohibited items, failing to make required payments, or engaging in prohibited uses.
